About the product line:
Do you make custom sizes or do custom work?
We keep our prices affordable by having efficient processes of creating a limited variety of products. Custom work can be expensive but we can accommodate some specialty projects between January and March. Sizes and styles of end grain frames and switch plates are generally limited to those advertised. Frames that use the molding shown in the specialty frames can be made to custom sizes.
Do you sell the raw wood?
Yes, we custom mill spalted alder to your specific dimensions (up to 8 feet long). We offer raw kiln dried wood, planed wood, and sanded and finished wood. The wood is excellent for furniture, artisan work or interior finishing wood. The cost is comparable to other interior finishing wood. Please contact us with your needs for a price quote.
Do you use other woods than spalted alder?
Our product line features only spalted alder. For switch plates or products using other wood please contact us.
